Behind the woodie can be found the giraffe enclosure. This was a challenging area to integrate into the rest of the park paths because guests needed to be able to view the giraffes, but with no other suitable area for the woodie and with no paths near the giraffes I needed to extend the path system so I could add viewing galleries where I needed them. To minimize guest confusion guest traffic is guided with a one way sign around the path that gives access to the giraffe viewing galleries.

As much as possible I wanted to minimize the use of one-way signs to direct the guests around my park and except for this path alongside giraffe viewing galleries, the exit to Safari Train, and access into and out of the south side of our park I believe I’ve used one-way signs quite sparingly.

At the south end of the giraffe enclosure is the Quad Bikes track and Aquarium, with Giant Slide nearby. Quad Bikes has fourteen vehicles and leaves the station when there’s a full load. At the time I took this screenshot thirteen bikes had guests waiting to leave the station and in the guest console there wasn’t a single other guest who was “headed for Quad Bikes.” I don’t know how many times this had happened during the times I’d previously played this park but if I play it again I’ll reduce the number of Quad Bike vehicles on the track.

The end of our tour of the north side of this park is marked in the following image with the south food courts.

Trampoline is located at the east end of the south food courts. Trampoline and Aquarium are the only rides that are entered from the park’s north side and from which guests exit already in the south side of the park.

Apart from Trampoline and Aquarium all guests access the park’s south side through two access tunnels just off the south food court. Both the east and the west access points are on either side of the south monorail station.

Immediately south of this area are Kiddie Railway and the sea mammal shows. Guests walking along the underground paths accessed through the north side to south side tunnels exit on to underwater paths I’ve built inside our marine tank which has been excavated out of bedrock.
