Parchment Background Image for My Projects: Advertisement Land, Page 2 on FlightToAtlantis.net

Some while ago I created LCD queue line television CSO’s. The images in these TV's are interchangeable and are added from another part of the same CS set after the televisions have been placed on the paths.

The images on these television screens are not billboards because RCT3 billboards don’t light up at night and a television screen that’s not lit at night doesn’t look natural. However the images do advertise other attractions in this park, and other parks operated by the company.

Here's an image displaying how beautifully the images on the TV's light up at night.

I’m very satisfied with the level of light I’ve texture styled into the television images. I've deliberately omitted adding to these CSO's the flickering blue light effect point that comes with the in-game version of these scenery objects.

Comparatively, here is a display of the billboards that come with my POE Building 4 Set. Using Lee’s stucco texture as the background I specifically created the images on these billboards in a POE Building 4 type theme to display the types of merchandise on offer at each stall here in POE Presentation Park.

Here are these same billboards at night. As you see, billboard images on the signs near the top of the stalls don’t light up at night as nicely as texture styled images do on CSO’s. The stall interiors are also made up of billboards while the stalls come with an interior light. In this night time image one can just make out the lit interiors of the stalls.

The billboard images inside each stall suggest the merchandise that’s on offer there. In this daylight image we can observe that the lighting is not quite what it should be because the stall interiors are not texture styled images on CSO’s.

In the Souvenir Shop accent building in POE Presentation Park I’ve created stalls which are made up of a curved counter along with a billboard display case at the rear. Inside this accent structure these stalls are placed along one side with the billboard images displaying the merchandise available at each stall. This is a night time image and the lights inside the structure happen to be placed ideally to light up the building interior and the billboards that make up the rear of the stalls.

Also in POE Presentation Park inside a structure called The Hacienda there’s a café along one side of which are these same types of stalls with billboards. You will observe that the billboards are excessively bright as this is a day time image and the sun is behind the photographer. It is usually better to use texture styled images imported with CSO's than to rely on billboards in our parks.

In Aegean Sands park there are several information stations about for the use of my park guests. There are four touch screens at each station: three vertical displays and one horizontal display below the three vertical ones. All four screens display park branding. For now the large central display shows a screensaver until I get an idea of another sort of image that will suit.

Here’s another station in another area of the same park. It is clear in this next image that the touch screens are standard textures with no texture styling that gives off any light. This is something I'll need to fix.

There is one information station in POE Presentation Park and that’s located inside the POE gazebo. So that it would blend with the gazebo the vertical screens were removed from the information station and different textures were used to give it a different appearance. It can just be made out there above the center of the following image.

None of the images on these information stations are billboard images.

For our article Creating A Custom Folder For CFR’s I wanted to come up with an image that demonstrated CFR’s being placed into a folder. This is a representation of my thoughts made into an illustration.

Without the use of words I think it very well demonstrates CFR’s being placed into a folder.

Finally, when we were done with our article, Optimize Your System and Enhance Your Gaming Experience, I wondered if I could illustrate how one might uncover the hidden potential in their computer. As soon as I decided I’d like to make use of a Superman-esque character it was simply a matter of finding a good image of a PC motherboard and the rest just fell into place.

In creating this image I learned a few new techniques and enjoyed selecting the colors. It’s one of my favorites.

This article demonstrates that our parks can be customized & individualized with the creation of branded CSO's, with the imaginative use of billboards, and with the suggestion of billboards and display areas created with standard or texture styled images that we import with our CSO's.
