Effect Bone

 Description

camerafront

This is the location of the front camera of each car which gives a view of where the train is headed. (Also see article notes Camera Positions.)

camerarear

The placement for the rear camera in each car is based on this effect point. It gives a pleasing view of where the train's been. (Also see article notes Camera Positions.)

nosecamera

This view is similar to camerafront except is further forward of the train and is ordinarily only ½m to 1m above the track. (Also see article notes Camera Positions.)

carfront

Defines the place where the game engine acknowledges the front of your car. (Also see article notes carfront and carrear.)

carrear

Defines the place where the game engine acknowledges the rear of your car. (Also see article notes carfront and carrear.)

peep01

This is the position of the first (and only) peep in the car. (Also see article notes Peep Placement In Relation To Effect Bone Placement.)

peep02, peep03, peep04, etc.

Every peep in a train car needs to be coordinated specifically with the effect bones arranged on your car model as you'd want the peeps arranged in the car. Consecutive peep numbers must be used, i.e., for a car with four peeps you need to specify each an increasing value, e.g., peep01, peep02, peep03 and peep04.

wheelfl

Coordinates of the front left wheel. It's not necessary to place the Effect Bone so it exactly matches the location of the wheel. (Also see article notes wheelfl, wheelfr, wheelrl, and wheelrr.)

wheelfr

Coordinates of the front right wheel. It's not necessary to place the Effect Bone so it exactly matches the location of the wheel. (Also see article notes wheelfl, wheelfr, wheelrl, and wheelrr.)

wheelrl

Coordinates of the rear left wheel. It's not necessary to place the Effect Bone so it exactly matches the location of the wheel. (Also see article notes wheelfl, wheelfr, wheelrl, and wheelrr.)

wheelrr

Coordinates of the rear right wheel. It's not necessary to place the Effect Bone so it exactly matches the location of the wheel. (Also see article notes wheelfl, wheelfr, wheelrl, and wheelrr.)
