Parchment Background Image for Joint Projects, Custom Content, Liz Mushroom Houses, Page 2 on FlightToAtlantis.net

A balcony with mushroom roof and wood beam supports has been added to provide tall, multi-storey mushroom houses with more visual interest.

Inspired by those found in Shy’s Alpine Village Set 4, a chimney has also been added.

A stovepipe wall addition will come in this set to suggest, perhaps, where the Wonderland Inhabitants might have placed the cast iron kitchen stove inside their house.

Because these mushroom houses have such organic shapes the windows, doors, balcony, stovepipe, and chimney will come already included with each house. It will be next to impossible to create these items as separate pieces in the set due to concerns with in-game placement.

A mushroom stall with vendor, and a working mushroom litter bin are planned for this set.

Three new mushroom house shapes are also in progress.

Again, just so we can see what’s what the window and door shapes have simply been duplicated and placed on the work in progress pending the creation of additional door and window types by Liz. I cannot tell you how much I look forward to what Liz might come up with!

Stepping stone-type path CSO’s (no image available at this time) are being planned for use with the existing Invisible Paths set that comes with the Invisible Doodads pack.

When Liz is able to spare the time to get back to this, so that she can be creative without any restrictions I’ve forwarded to her updated SketchUp models of all six mushroom cottages. We’ve looked out some additional textures that will probably be appearing in future updates of this set.

Additions being considered:

a Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater House,

a Mistress Mary Quite Contrary Cottage,

a Hansel and Gretel Gingerbread House,

CSO’s that look like Liquorice Allsorts, Dolly Mixtures, frozen popsicles, ice cream bear hugs, Neapolitan ice cream floats, and other candy, sweets, & desserts,

mini mushroom houses for the Wonderland inhabitants to use outside their homes as a bird house or dog house, and possibly

candycane CSO’s along with a Christmas Gingerbread Cottage.

  Update!

The three original Liz Mushroom Houses have been imported as final versions. The beginning of RCT2 Wonderland Themed Set is released and available for download. For additional details see our download article here.
