Parchment Background Image for My Projects: Importing Items Into RCT3: CSO's I Have Imported: Information Station on FlightToAtlantis.net

I like the idea of guests being able to receive park information from park staff but was never entirely happy with the in-game information booth. I’ve created my own information station.

The information stations are computerized, have touch screens, and display data from the hotel’s administrative server. Each station comes with a main screen, three directory screens, and a supply of maps, brochures, pamphlets, and cards which are stacked neatly on shelves below. Guests can access park information by touching any of the directory screens after which the information they requested will display on the main screen. Guests may choose to listen to the audio that comes with each presentation, or request that the staff member nearby provide them with the information. At each station there is at least one staff member on hand who can tell guests information, assist in using the station, or pass to guests any of the printed information they might like to have.

Our information station vendors understand they are not there to hard sell park attractions, rather they are there to share park information with the guests and that the sharing of this information is solely based on individual guest’s needs.

Five guests at a time may be served from the information point. The stations are not colorable and come only in the textures seen. For now the hotel screensaver displays on the station’s main screen. This may change in a future update.
